In Acts 17:11, as the apostles moved from Thessolonica to Berea, the bible says “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” There are many people in the world who are listening to preachers but are not searching the scriptures for themselves. It is of utmost importance that everyone who comes in contact with the Word, must see the value of the Word. In James 1:21, he gives us a reason as to why the Word of God is so important.
